Liliana Guapia is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, carrying both Native American and Mexican ancestry. She completed her associate degree in Arts at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and is a rising sophomore at Swarthmore College pursuing a bachelor's degree with a prospective major in political science on a pre-law track. Liliana's previous occupation as a prevention specialist in substance abuse has fueled her passion to assist those in need. She aspires to cultivate safe communities with an emphasis on Indigenous spaces.
