An enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, she grew up on the Crow Reservation and currently resides in Helena, Montana. She is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of two grandchildren.
She earned her undergraduate degrees from Helena College and Montana Technological University in Butte, and later received her master's degree from the University of Montana in Missoula.
Her professional experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant at the Urban Indian Health Clinic in Helena and as a Human Resources Director in higher education.
In her free time, she enjoys playing softball during the summer months and is excited to cheer on her grandson as he plays baseball.
